#BBQ2018 proves the potential of the biomedical ecosystem in Catalonia

Last July 19th we attended the #BBQ2018 of CataloniaBio & HealthTech, a networking night in the outskirts of Barcelona that brought together entrepreneurs and professionals from the fields of biomedicine, medical technology and health. #BBQ2018 was the first barbecue of the new association after the integration of CataloniaBio and Health Tech Cluster, and was attended by more than 300 people.

This type of event demonstrates once again that the diversity of startups, companies and entities in the sector in Catalonia is constantly growing. "A diversity that, far from being a weakness, offers us the possibility of completing the entire value chain of innovative solutions that should allow us to improve people's health" explained Jaume Amat, President of CataloniaBio & HealthTech.
