At Innovamed we would like to thank both the speakers and the attendees, because thanks to them the 'Workshop on Advanced Polymers for Companies in the Biotechnology Sector' was a great success.
During the day of last Friday 19 October 2018 there were several presentations with which we could learn first hand the most current advances and applications of advanced polymers in the biotechnology sector:
Amparo Baiget (AIMPLAS) - "Last generation polymers: characteristics and applications".
Thomas Wagner (KRAIBURG) - "Materials selection: supplier's approach".
Iban Quintana (IK4 TEKNIKER) - "Surface microstructuration of polymeric components: a new strategy to enhance product functionalities.
Javier Peña (MATERFAD) - "Global vision on new materials for the medical sector.
In addition, it was also a great opportunity to connect between companies and publicize products, services and work processes.
Finally, we would also like to thank the spreading made by the clusters Asebio, Biocat and CataloniaBio & HealthTech, which are always willing to support these initiatives within the world of biotechnology.
