Interview with Bartosz Trojnar, Production Manager at Innovamed

The productive activity at Innovamed´s plant and the new projects in progress

WHAT FACILITIES DOES INNOVAMED CURRENTLY HAVE?

Innovamed currently has 1,200 m2 of facilities of which 400 m2 are dedicated to 3 ISO-7 Clean Rooms. In two of these clean rooms are installed a total of 7 injectors between 15 and 155 Tn. The third room, of 100 m2, is dedicated to the assembly and blistering of the components produced or supplied by the customer.

WHAT ARE THE MOST RELEVANT ASPECTS WITHIN THE PRODUCTION ACTIVITY OF INNOVAMED IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE THE MAXIMUM QUALITY OF THE PARTS PRODUCED?

I would highlight three key points within our production area: 
 
In-line robotization of the quality control systems, through artificial vision cameras that allow us to carry out large-scale productions with optimum production stability of the injected units.

Secondly, the incorporation, since the beginning of 2019, of a new ERP, for production management, with live data capture, and where the managers and line operators introduce, through touch screens, the most relevant data, to analyze and evaluate and correct, the deviations that are occurring in the key production parameters.

Finally, the continuous training of our employees through the briefings developed for each product in accordance with the Quality Specifications established with the customer.

 
WHAT NEW PROJECTS DO YOU HAVE WILL BE ADDRESSED IN THE COMING MONTHS WITHIN THE PRODUCTION AREA OF INNOVAMED?

We plan to finish in a few weeks the qualification of our injectors and sterile barrier equipment.  Having the IQ of our production equipment has been a great challenge and a great advantage for our customers because it will allow our clients the OQ and PQ qualification of their products.

We are also working on the incorporation of two softwares that will allow us to improve both the maintenance of our facilities, as well as an application that will allow us to have total traceability and history of our customers' molds.
