INNOVAMED attends the conference on In Vitro Diagnostics

Innovamed attended the presentation of the report "The In Vitro Diagnostic today. A paradigm shift in the quality of life and the process of patient care", prepared by Fenin with the collaboration of Antares Consulting and presented with great attendance at the ESADE Auditorium in Madrid on February 26. 

In Vitro Diagnosis is the most used and significant complementary technique in the healthcare process, it has an increasing weight in clinical decisions and it contributes directly to evidence-based medicine.

We remind that 70% of clinical decisions are made based on in vitro diagnosis and constitute the area of ​​health that most participates in supporting diagnosis and treatment follow-up.

As the members of the round table pointed out, there is no healthcare process in which in vitro diagnosis is not fundamental. Ana Quintero, coordinator of the Biological Diagnostic Network of Osakidetza, Rafael Canton, head of the microbiology service of Ramon y Cajal and Andoni Lorenzo, president of the FEP were in charge of discussing the contribution of the IVD Sector and explaining where the innovations are going .

Manel Peiro, director of the Institute For HealthCare Management of ESADE, Immaculada Caballé, president of the Spanish Society of Laboratory Medicine and Carlos Sisternas, coordinator of the In Vitro Diagnostic Sector of Fenin, were in charge of inaugurating the presentation of the study. Carmen Abad, head of the Department of Health Products of the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Health Products, closed the day.
